'Iran to give crushing response to possible attacks'

The Islamic Republic News Agency:

Iran's Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi here on Wednesday warned against any possible military attack against Iran, promising that Iran's response would be crushing.

"Any country or power which invades Iran will face a crushing response. We will defend our security and our country in the strongest way in case of any possible military attack," he added... "US is well aware that it might be easy to start such an action against Iran but ending that would not be then in the hands of US officials. Such action will definitely end up in US collapse..."

In related news, the "Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution" Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khameini stated:

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces said at a graduation ceremony at Shahid Sattari Air Force Academy that feeling security and peace of mind is pre-requisite for material and spiritual progress of every nation and thanks God the Iranian nation enjoys such a feeling owing to the vigilant and powerful military power.

The Supreme Leader paid tribute to late Commander of Air Force Major General Sattari who died in an air crash and martyred commanders of the armed forces who sacrificed their lives during eight-year imposed war (1980-1988)... Ayatollah Khamenei recommended the army personnel to follow the martyrs as their own model... [he] advised the army personnel to develop faith and piety...

If the U.S. military attacks Iran, there will be no shortage of martyrs in the Iranian armed forces.
