#Fab50: Announcing the 2012 Fabulous 50 Blog Award Winners

The moment you've been waiting for is here.

The votes are in. The anxious nominees' fingernails have been chewed down to the quick.

Winner - 2012 Fabulous 50 Blog Awards And at least one blogger just excused himself to go to the bathroom (number two, apparently, based upon the length of time he's been gone).

So we're more than pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Fabulous 50 Blog Awards, the most prestigious new media awards in the conservative blogosphere.

Or, at the very least, in the 993 area code.

These awards recognize a variety of blogs and websites operating in the conservative hemisphere of the Internet, all of which have worked tirelessly to protect America from Statism -- some in very unique ways.

So, without further ado, may I have the envelopes, please?

  1. I THINK THAT PAM AND ROBERT ARE HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE ME!

AND ATLAS; REALLY - SHE IS THE GREATEST!

IT IS AN HONOR TO BE MENTIONED IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS THEM AND THE SULTAN - LET ALONE SHARE ANY RECOGNITION!

    THANK YOU DOUG!

  2. Thanks, Doug.

But just so you know, many of my 1000-word sentences are a function of neurosis. Every since I got shut down on prom night, I've had a big problem with periods.

  3. Thanks Doug.

    This doesn't happen every day.

  5. Can't see the list, Doug. Every time I try to go to the page it disappears after two seconds. Is it my browser or is this happening to other people?

  6. Excellent post, excellent resource list; thank you!

I didn't catch "most effective Obama removal blog."

We should all identify this blog and emulate it for the next two years; or until removal with major dishonor of the subject teenager marxist.

    AK47 subject OK.

(List is working fine here, J.P.)

  7. J.P., this seems to be happening with some folks' older browsers.

Which browser and version are you using?

If IE6 or IE7, I definitely recommend upgrading to a more modern version for security reasons alone.

  9. Thank you for selecting Watcher of Weasels - they are terrific people. I'm lucky they let us in.

Thank you very much for not giving me any awards for faux-ness or being dumb or most confused! :)

  10. Congratulations to all the winners! Very good choices, Doug. And now that most of the big important award giving bloggers have given their out awards, it is nearly time for the moment you all are REALLY waiting for, the obscure and highly coveted 2nd Annual Zilla Awards for Awesomeness in the Dextrosphere; where such burning questions as "Will Doug Ross again be among the winners, and if so, what awesome category will he get his award in?" will be answered.

  12. IE9, Doug. I'm assuming it's something with my browser since nobody else is mentioning a problem.

I was hoping to win "Best Commenter in a Comment Section Who's Screen Name Begins With 'K' and Ends With 'Bob'"

    There's always next year.

Some great winners in her. Good job. A few eyebrow-raisers, too, so that means the recriminations should be good. All around, well done.

Oooh. I should win most Freudian typo award, too.

Thank you for including 2012 Watcher Council winners! You're very nice!

I'm glad your blog exists. It helps to keep me going. It's very lonely being a conservative. I was less lonely when I was a Dem but I was wrong. :)
